Student Grievance Procedures

Students are encouraged to review the Student Handbook and the Student Code of Conduct. When students have questions about procedures, decisions, or judgments, they are encouraged to discuss the situation with their classroom instructor. The counselor is available for further discussion and resolution of differences. Students may formally file a grievance using the school board-approved Student/Parent Complaint Form. This form is housed in the student service department.

The Grievance policy at George T. Baker Aviation Technical College is as follows:

Students having questions about procedure, decision, or judgment are encouraged to discuss the situation with their classroom teacher. The counselor is available for further discussion and resolution of differences. Students may formally appeal the process with a school-site administrator.

Students also have recourse to a more formal appeal process with a school site administrator and region office.  Students may also contact the accrediting agency:
